CSU Scholarships
We provide three annual scholarships to the value of $2,000 each to students enrolled at the Dubbo campus of Charles Sturt University. Students are assessed on academic achievement and need. One of our 2011 scholarship recipients is Cara Grosser, a second-year nursing student who travels for 12 hours every week to attend CSU in Dubbo. Cara will use the scholarship to buy text books and pay for her accommodation and travel costs associated with her next practical placement. Read Cara's story here.
Dubbo College Senior Campus Scholarship
We provide an annual joint scholarship with Dubbo Local Aboriginal Land Council to the value of $1,000 for an indigenous student at Dubbo College Senior Campus to help them continue their education.
Music Scholarship
We provide an annual music tuition scholarship to the Macquarie Conservatorium of Music to a local school student to the value of $1,000.
The current scholarship recipient is young Aboriginal student at Delroy High School, Shekeah Knight who plays the alto saxophone. A member of Dubbo’s Combined Schools Concert Band, Shekeah’s scholarship allowed her to start formal saxophone lessons.
