Orana Education and Training Co-operative Ltd (OEC) is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation that has been part of western NSW since the 1976. We were established in Dubbo in response to a need for training and education resources and facilities.
We have a strong commitment to providing high quality employment services for regional businesses seeking staff and job seekers who are looking for employment that matches their skills. We also have a proud history of working closely with disadvantaged and Indigenous communities in remote and regional western NSW - from Wellington through to the Queensland border, including Gulargambone, Nyngan and Coolabah.
We are committed to effectively engaging with and supporting these local communities, particularly where employment is concerned, because we can see many flow-on effects in rural and remote Australia when people are meaningfully employed.
